Chicago first date ideas?

I'm going on a first date Saturday and it's supposed to be warm that day. I need ideas on what to do for a first date. I'm also limited to where we can go because we're also brining my dog. Any ideas on what would make a fun day with a girl and mans best friend? Maybe a picnic or fishing? If so, where are there places preferably downtown that we could fish no questions or permits required...
