Why would a highly articulate intelligent 21 girl be interested in a 37 yo guy?

From a dating site, I'm confused by why a 21 yo be interested in me? she is an excellent writer but, she is pretty but I don't think she is quite my type. She is an only child too. That seems to put up alarm bells for me.
