North Face Jacket - Should I get the Denali or the Apex?

Hi, I currently own the north face windwall jacket but it has not been warm enough for me lately. I love in northern iowa so it gets pretty chilly here, especially during the winter! Between the Denali and the Apex, which jacket is WARMER? Also, which jacket is the nicest overall? I have heard that the Apex is good because it is waterproof but then have heard that the denali is also a very durable jacket. Please give me your input =)
