Is Delta safe/good airline?

I'm flying to Japan from Nebraska tomorrow and I am super scared. I've flown a lot in my lifetime, about 15 times and I'm 13, but I don't like Delta. I looked up they're ratings and they have 1.8/5 star rating. That freaked me out!! I trust Japanese and most American airlines, except Delta! I'm sooo scared. We stop in Minneapolis and then once more at Narita before getting to our destination. Please tell me they are safe!? :/ SOOOOO SCARED!! HELP!
