Indefinite Leave to Remain Visa is it possible for me?

I came in the UK Nov 2004 and never left the country ever since. I am on dependents visa under my wife's working visa and in Nov 2008 we got separated for falsely accused me of domestic violence case which I pleaded not guilty to the court and dismissed the case. We have 2 kids 9 and 12 when it happened. My ex-wife I belive got her uk citizenship already and ILR for the kids where she took them out the country for 1.5 years away from me during our court case was going on without my consent. Now the kids were back in the uk 2 months ago and never seen them ever since and my visa is still limited til 2013. Is there any chance to get my ILR on my own? My irresposible ex doesn't seem to help me. Thank you.
