What do some religions have against meditation?

I am catholic and I am not against meditation.. strictly the meditation can be found in the catholic church..like the rosary or just meditation in the word of God, the meditation from hinduism and buddhism is a problem for christians specially because they use terms against the Bible like energy or repeating prayers outside of the christian wa.. but you can discover if you are roman catholic.. a christian meditation.
